What is the Utah OHV Education Course, and do I need to complete it before riding?
Yes, Utah state law requires anyone operating an off-highway vehicle (side-by-side or ATV) on public lands and designated roads to complete the Utah OHV Education Course before driving.
What It Is: A state-mandated orientation covering Utah trail rules, rider safety, public land etiquette, and legal roadway crossings.
Cost & Time: It is 100% free, taken online, and takes about 15 to 20 minutes on your phone or computer.
Validity: You only take it once in a lifetime—it never expires.
Proof Required: Once finished, you receive a digital certificate. Simply save a screenshot or PDF on your phone to show during the delivery walkthrough and have on hand while out on the trails.
Snowmobiles Note: Under Utah regulations, snowmobiles are exempt from the standard adult wheeled OHV course.

Whether you’re shredding downhill, climbing rocky paths, or exploring hidden trails, this ride delivers the perfect blend of control and thrill.
Can I drive the rental directly from my cabin to the trails?
Yes, you can ride directly from your cabin to the trails, but where and how far you can drive on pavement depends strictly on whether the machine has a street-legal kit installed.
Street-Legal Machines: If the vehicle is equipped with a street-legal kit (turn signals, horn, mirrors, and license plate), you have full road legality to drive on designated public roads, town streets, and paved access highways up to posted speed limits to reach trailheads, fuel stations, or food stops.
Standard (Non-Street-Legal) Machines: If the machine does not have a street-legal kit, regular road cruising is not allowed. However, you can still use designated local residential access roads at low speeds solely to connect from your cabin driveway straight into the trail system, or cross paved highways at a direct 90-degree right angle. You cannot use it for general highway transit or running errands in town.
During the delivery walkthrough, we verify your cabin's access point and show you the legal connection route directly to the dirt or snow.

Each machine arrives fueled, clean, and ready to ride so you can gear up and go, and from drop-off to pick-up, every detail is taken care of. How does SxS and snowmobile delivery work to cabins and trailheads?
We deliver your machine directly to your cabin address or public trailhead staging area across Cedar City, Duck Creek Village, Brian Head, and the Markagunt Plateau, completely eliminating the need for you to haul a trailer.
Select Your Drop-Off Location: During booking, you provide your cabin address or designate a trailhead staging area. We schedule the drop-off time around your ride itinerary.
Turnkey Arrival: We transport the machine directly to you on our trailer. The vehicle arrives prepped, fueled, and ready for the trail.
Walkthrough & Hands-On Test Drive: We conduct a fast operational overview of the machine's controls and 4WD engagement, verify your Utah OHV course certificate, and let you test drive the machine right then to feel its handling and mechanical condition before your reservation starts.
Ride Direct: In mountain cabin areas like Duck Creek and Brian Head, designated access roads connect straight into the public trail system, allowing you to ride right from the property.
Scheduled Retrieval: Once your reservation ends, you park the machine back at the drop-off spot. We arrive with our trailer, complete a quick walkaround inspection, and haul it away.
No Supervision / Self-Guided Use Statement
Proxplorers operates as a rental and equipment provider, and not a guided tour service unless explicitly stated for a specific experience. Once equipment is delivered or picked up, customers have full control over its use and operation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, there is no active supervision during your experience. Customers are solely responsible for their route selection, riding behavior, and compliance with all safety and legal requirements throughout the duration of their rental.

Outdoor conditions are unpredictable and may change rapidly without warning. This includes weather, temperature, wind, visibility, trail conditions, and terrain stability. Proxplorers does not control environmental conditions, and customers acknowledge that these factors are part of the inherent risk of the experience.

Proxplorers does not provide equipment or services for minors. All participants must meet the minimum age requirement and be fully capable of legally entering into an agreement and operating equipment safely. Any use of services implies that the customer meets all age and legal eligibility requirements.
